Philosophy
When I discovered the book of works by Claude Monet, "Monet's Years at Giverny" in 2001, I knew I wanted to learn how to paint impressionistically. I bought lots of books on the subject, and in 2003 I was fortunate enough to have studied with Lois Griffel, then director of the Cape Cod School of Art.

I have worked very hard on the study of color and light and I have developed my own impressionistic style to bring out the beauty of nature.
